Heritage Quilt Coat Autumn Hues Trip-Around-the-World Clarice
This coat is part of a limited edition collection for the Fall of 2024.
It has been made from a heritage-quality antique quilt.
It is handmade and hand-quilted.
The quilt has been laundered in perfume-free and dye-free detergent before being transformed into a coat.
Bright and cheery, but still with an autumn feel - this unique Trip Around the World quilt made one amazing Clarice coat! The inside is the same beautiful yellow paired with a unique blue-green print. The border of the main coat is a dark navy blue that picks up the deep blues in the coat squares.
It measures as follows:
Approximate size -US size 16 women
Shoulder to shoulder -26"
Armpit to armpit -25"
Length from neck to bottom hem-37"
Swing-51"
Sleeve length (uncuffed)-21.5"
I suggest spot cleaning, but you may handwash if needed using cold water and mild detergent. Squeeze out excess water- don't twist.
Lay flat to dry.
Please be aware that this is an antique and some signs of aging and wear such as staining and fraying or thin fabric may be present. However, I have chosen these particular quilts because of their exceptional condition - but they are not 100% free from flaws.
